Do you offer remote assistance?

I offer both remote and in-person assistance, depending on the nature of the problem and your preference. Many issues can be resolved remotely, providing quick and cost-effective solutions. However, for more complex problems or on-site network setup, I am available for in-person support provided that you are within the North Kensington area.

How do I know if my computer needs virus protection or removal services?

Common signs of a virus-infected computer include slow performance, unexpected pop-up ads, unexplained file changes, and unauthorised access. If you suspect your computer is infected, it's best to contact me immediately for a thorough assessment and necessary action to protect your system.

How long does it take to recover my data?

The time it takes to recover your data depends on the extent of the damage and the size of the data. Simple data recovery tasks can often be completed within a day, while more complex cases may take a bit longer. I will provide an estimate after an initial assessment.

What are your fees?

- Quick phone assistance: For queries that can be resolved over the phone within 5-10 minutes, there's no charge.

- Remote appointments: If your query is complex and requires more time (beyond 10 minutes), we can schedule a remote appointment at a rate of £15 per 30 minutes.

- In-person appointments (Local): In the event that a query can't be resolved remotely and you are within 3 miles of the North Kensington area, we can book an initial assessment at your address for £30 per hour.

- In-person appointments (Non-Local): Rates for in-person appointments outside the local area are variable. Please contact me for further details if this applies to your location.

If I face a tech problem outside your working hours, what should I do?

I understand that urgent tech issues can arise at any time. If you face a critical problem outside of my regular working hours, please leave a detailed enquiry or send me an email explaining the issue. I monitor urgent messages and I will make every effort to respond promptly and assist you in resolving the problem as soon as possible.
